Cael Halfman, D.C. is a graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. While at Palmer, Dr. Halfman interned in the Palmer College Rehabilitation Clinic. Dr. Halfman has an interest in interdisciplinary care, which led him to completing an interdisciplinary rotation with the Community Health Center in the Quad Cities. Dr. Halfman completed his Doctoral Clerkship at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. While at the VA, Dr. Halfman worked in pain management in collaboration with other providers to provide care for veterans. Along with providing care, Dr. Halfman spent time with multiple hospital departments, including spinal cord injury, surgery, emergency medicine, and an urgent care concussion clnic.
Dr. Halfman received his undergraduate degree in Health and Exercise Science from Central College in Pella, Iowa, where he also played football. During his time at Central, Dr. Halfman completed an internship with Ankeny Sports Performance.
Dr. Halfman has experience in pain management, spinal rehabilitation, interdisciplinary health care, clinical research, and sports performance.
