Blood Work & Onsite lab testing

As your local family healthcare provider, Woodlands Medical Group can complete blood draws in-house, with results being delivered to the clinic in two to five business days for patient follow-up. Once your results are in, we will conduct a thorough review with you and can offer assistance in monitoring any specific problems you may have. We are here to help you on your journey to complete wellness!

The following labs are completed in-house with immediate results:

Complete urinalysis: screens for diabetes, kidney disease, dehydration and infection

• Ketones
• Nitrates
• Protein
• Leukocytosis esterase- signs of infection
• Blood in urine

EKG, electrocardiogram, is a test that checks for problems with the electrical activity of your heart. An EKG shows the heart’s electrical activity as line tracings on paper. The spikes and dips in the tracing are called waves. Screens for abnormal rhythms, irregular heartbeats, tachycardia, brachicardia and heart blocks.
